Happy First Anniversary

Founder Julie Jehly reflects on the past year and welcomes year two

I trusted my intuition and the journey. Sure, it's cliché but true, and today* is the

first anniversary celebration for JJ Crowdfunding Advisors!!

As I look back over my career, I am aware of how every experience in the for-profit, nonprofit, and fiscal sponsor communities instinctively led me to merge this knowledge into the launch of JJ Crowdfunding Advisors. Now I am beyond thrilled to be a member of the over 14 million women-owned small businesses in the United States.

One of the best parts of the year was meeting and advising extraordinary individuals whose contagious drive and passion for their nonprofit work continually inspired me to bring my A game. We discussed strategies, objectives, and challenges, and I offered traditional and crowdfunding tools tailored to meet their needs, build community, and increase fundraising success. How I treasure our celebratory conversations when goals were exceeded.

The year also brought opportunities to meet and deepen relationships with the partners who support the fiscal sponsor and project community. They are a dedicated group passionate about the collective good.

As JJ Crowdfunding Advisors begins its second year,

the focus remains on three successful core beliefs. 

1.      Growth – Building the skill-set and confidence of individuals, especially those new to fundraising, so they will competently meet and exceed their goals – thereby growing the bottom line for everyone.

2.      Collaboration – Working in partnership to share dreams and ideas, achieve objectives and fulfill missions. We truly are stronger together.  

3.      Trust – Bolstering courage to embrace change and try new avenues to reach donors. Outcomes may be better than ever dreamed of.

This anniversary is celebrated with fiscal sponsor clients Alternative Newsweekly Foundation, Mission.Earth, and Local Color, nonprofit Noontime Concerts, and partner Mazlo. Every time we meet is a reminder how grateful I am to share this journey with you. Thank you.
